The music video for BigXthaPlug’s new song “Home” featuring Shaboozey was released Friday.
DALLAS — The music video that stopped traffic in Dallas last week is officially out.
Country singer Shaboozey and Dallas rapper BigxthaPlug shot the video for the rapper’s song “Home” on the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge during rush hour traffic around 5 p.m. June 17. Now, the music video is out.
The video opens with a voiceover talking about a “major traffic jam” on the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge over footage of the bridge, and the two talking about “crazy” traffic in a car before they get out, and the music starts.
“Home” is reportedly part of BigXthaPlug’s upcoming country album “I Hope You’re Happy.” The rapper had previously teased that the album would feature collaborations with Shaboozey, Jelly Roll and others in an interview with People Magazine.
Dallas police previously said the shoot that closed the bridge was permitted “through the Office of Special Events.” While the shoot may have been disruptive to drivers, it was part of a growing list of productions filmed in North Texas.
BigXthaPlug and Shaboozey have previously collaborated on Shaboozey’s song “Drink Don’t Need No Mix.”
Earlier this month, Shaboozey presented BigXthaPlug with the 2025 Innovator Award at Billboard’s Country Power Players event, as People reported.
“To be an innovator, basically somebody that put their own mix on something, for them to be saying that I’m doing that with country is an honor,” BigXthaPlug told People. “Not only are they acknowledging it, but to know that I’m actually putting my own twist and not just doing something that somebody’s already done… that’s just an honor within itself.”
