At this point, we don’t know what led to the shooting or the condition of the utility worker.
MAGNOLIA, Texas — A dispute between a homeowner and a utility worker in Montgomery County escalated to gunfire Tuesday afternoon.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, it happened a little before 1:30 p.m. on Rustic Lane in Magnolia, which is just south of FM 1488.
According to deputies, there was some type of disturbance between the homeowner and the utility worker. At this point, we don’t know what it was about. Investigators said that as the situation escalated, the homeowner shot the utility worker multiple times.
The condition of the utility worker is unknown.
