Police said the victim was shot Friday afternoon during what appeared to be a planned meeting to sell items.
ROWLETT, Texas — Rowlett police are searching for a 17-year-old suspect accused of shooting a 15-year-old boy in the head Friday afternoon, officials said.
Police were called at about 3:28 p.m. Friday to a business parking lot near the 5600 block of Rowlett Road. Officials said they learned the victim had been shot during what appeared to be a meeting planned to sell items.
Police said the victim was with his brother at the time of the shooting. The suspect, 17-year-old Xavier Sen’cer Stevenson, of Rowlett, reportedly fled the scene westbound across Rowlett Road toward Maple Lane. The victim was taken to a local hospital.
Stevenson is wanted on a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
