DALLAS — Dallas firefighters responded to a large apartment fire Sunday night in North Dallas, officials said.
Firefighters responded to reports of a fire around 8:54 p.m. at the Tides at North Dallas, located at 13250 Emily Road, Dallas Fire-Rescue said in a press release.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they may have observed a balcony fire that quickly spread, prompting a second alarm response, the release states.
About 40 firefighters responded to the scene before the fire was extinguished, officials said.
It was not immediately clear how many residents were displaced or how many units were damaged, the release states. The American Red Cross was called to provide assistance.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, the release states.
