The car was fully engulfed in flames when first responders arrived, HCSO said.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A man is dead after a fiery crash along Beltway 8 early Monday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened around 2:20 a.m. along the tollway near West Road.
Deputies at the scene said the driver, an adult man, veered off the tollway and hit a light pole along the feeder road before the car burst into flames.
When first responders got to the scene, deputies said the car was fully engulfed in flames.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
