Man arrested after fatal shooting in Dallas

Police responded to the shooting in the 5500 block of South Buckner Boulevard in March.

DALLAS — Police arrested a man in connection with the shooting death of a 30-year-old man in Dallas in March, officials announced Friday. 

Police were called shortly before 9:30 p.m. March 3 to the 5500 block of South Buckner Boulevard and found Victor Rojas, 30, had been shot by an unknown person, according to a news release.

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and Rojas died at the scene, officials say.

Police said Alex Hernandez, 20, was arrested in connection with the shooting April 29 and charged with murder. 

No other information about what led to the shooting was immediately available.
