AUSTIN (KXAN) — Residents of a neighborhood were cleared to return to their homes after the gas was turned off following a leak, according to the city of San Marcos.
“Area is now safe to resume normal traffic,” the city said in an updated post on social media.
Shortly before 3 p.m., the city said on social media that it evacuated some homes in “the Trace neighborhood.”
Two weeks ago, the city had to evacuate the Trace neighborhood for a gas line that was hit by a contractor, according to a social media post from the city.
As for the gas leak that happened Friday, no other details were available from the city.
