AUSTIN, Texas — Fans who went to the IMAX Theatre at the Bullock Texas State History Museum Wednesday night to catch an early showing of the new “F1” movie got a visit from a special guest.
Actor Brad Pitt, one of the stars and producers of the film, made a special appearance to the amazement of the fans in attendance.
“F1” stars Pitt, Damson Idris and Kerry Condon and centers around a retired Formula 1 driver, played by Pitt, who comes out of retirement to train a rookie driver. The film was directed by Joseph Kosinski, who previously directed films “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Tron: Oblivion,” and was produced by Pitt, Kosinski, Jerry Bruckheimer and current Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, among others.
“F1” is set to be released in theaters on June 27.
