Fire crews contain a large blaze at Snydverville Storage Facility in northwest Harris County.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A large fire that broke out early Friday morning at a storage facility in northwest Harris County has been contained, according to officials at the scene.
The blaze started around 2:30 a.m. at the Snyderville Storage Facility on Windfern Road. Fire crews responded quickly and worked for hours to get the fire under control.
Authorities say three firefighters were evaluated for heat exhaustion during the response but were able to continue battling the flames. In total, 16 storage units were affected by the fire.
The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office is now investigating the cause of the blaze.
