No injuries were reported, police say.
FORT WORTH, Texas — A man was arrested Thursday afternoon after leading police on a chase that ended with him crashing into a home in Fort Worth, according to the Saginaw Police Department.
Police said around 2 p.m., officers saw a man believed to be involved in several crimes in the city of Saginaw. Saginaw PD said officers saw the man get into a car and, knowing that he was a wanted felon, attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the man continued on.
According to Saginaw police, the suspect led officers on a short chase, which ended when he crashed into a home in the 7400 block of Bellingham Road. Police said the suspect got out of the car and ran, but was eventually taken into custody.
Police said no one was injured, including anyone inside the home, during the chase and crash.
Saginaw police said the man was wanted by multiple agencies — including the ATF, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, and the Mississippi Department of Corrections — for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
According to Saginaw PD, additional charges are pending.
