4 Texas cities named among safest for driving | 2025 America’s Best Drive Report

Allstate analyzed data related to auto insurance claims in the 200 most-populated U.S. cities to create the 2025 America’s Best Drivers Report.

TEXAS, USA — The safest driving city in the U.S. is in Texas, according Allstate’s 2025 America’s Best Drivers Report

Right on the U.S.-Mexico border in Brownsville. In fact, only four Texas cities made the top 20, and they’re all in South Texas.

None of the cities in Texas were in the bottom 20 of the 2025 report. The lowest-ranked Texas city was Garland at No. 170.

Allstate’s 2025 America’s Best Drivers Report analyzed data related to auto insurance claims in the 200 most-populated U.S. cities. The report was first started in 2005 and is released annually. The 2025 report shows that everything really is bigger – and apparently safer – in the Lone Star State. Twenty-one cities, including major metros such as Austin, Fort Worth, Houston and Dallas, have climbed the ranks over the past decade, the report stated.

The riskiest city for driving in the U.S., according to the report, is Boston, MA.
