3 people wounded in shooting in front of NW Houston home | Shots came from car

Police say the shooting happened in front of a home with children inside.

HOUSTON — Three people are now in the hospital after a shooting in northwest Houston Tuesday night.

It happened outside of a home on Phillip Street not far from West Little York. According to police, two women and a man who appeared to be in their 30s were shot. They were all taken to the hospital.

“One female is the most critical, was shot in the torso several times. The male was shot in the buttocks and arm and another female shot in the leg,” said Lt. R. Willkens with the Houston Police Department.

We’re told that a vehicle drove up and whoever was inside had some type of interaction with the victims. That’s when someone inside opened fire. The driver then turned around before more shots were fired.

Investigators also said that four kids were inside that home at the time, but thankfully none of them were hurt.

Right now it’s still unclear on how many people were inside the suspect’s vehicle. If you have any information about this, call police.
