Dallas police arrested three people and seized illegal drugs and firearms in a major narcotics investigation spanning multiple locations.
DALLAS — Dallas police arrested three people and seized multiple drugs and firearms from several locations as part of a narcotics investigation that began in September 2024.
According to the Dallas Police Department, detectives began the investigation in the 4900 block of East Side Avenue. In March 2025, they were able to connect that location to one in the 4900 block of Terry Street and another in the 8500 block of Park Lane. Police said detectives believed each location was being used to store and sell drugs.
Dallas PD said officers executed a search warrant at the Terry Street location, where they found multiple firearms, drugs and other illegal drug paraphernalia. Another search warrant was executed at the Park Lane location and officers seized various drugs and a handgun, police said.
According to police, the investigation and seizures led to the arrests of the following three people:
- Christopher Springfield, 32, on four counts of first-degree felony manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and one count of second-degree felony manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
- Saray Portillo, 31, on one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony.
- Jamie Solorzano, 40, on two counts of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, a third-degree felony.
Police said officers seized five guns, 408.9 grams of cocaine, 263.8 grams of methamphetamine, 21.6 grams of fentanyl, 5.8 grams of oxycodone, 1.65 grams of heroin, 43.8 grams of marijuana and $7,171.
