Michelin-lauded restaurant group plans Houston debut in Autry Park

The new concept will occupy the former MF Lobster space, which suddenly closed June 10.

HOUSTON — Houston-based Hanover Co.’s Autry Park mixed-use development along Allen Parkway will soon add a new restaurant to its dining options, following the abrupt closure of MF Lobster & Ceviche.

The Michelin-lauded Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group plans to open a new concept in the former MF Lobster space — a 2,200-square-foot, circular pod structure near the middle of the 14-acre development.

While Emmer & Rye did not disclose what the new concept will be, the company said the restaurant will open at 3711 Autry Park Drive, Suite 100, in late 2025. This will be the company’s first restaurant in Houston and its first outside of Austin and San Antonio.

“We’ve had our eye on Houston — and specifically Autry Park — for quite some time,” Tavel Bristol-Joseph, a partner of Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, said in a June 12 press release.
