Hank Hill joins Fortnite amid ‘King of the Hill’ reboot buzz

Hank Hill is hopping on the Battle Bus and giving fans a sneak peek this Father’s Day.

DALLAS — It’s been a big Father’s Day for fans of “King of the Hill.”

Die-hard fans got a sneak peek of the show’s anticipated reboot and will be able to play as Hank Hill in one of the most popular video games ever.

First, the show’s social media dropped some fatherly advice to commemorate the holiday. The advice came in the form of clips, which gave us some insight into potential plotlines for the upcoming series.

It seems like Bobby learning to brew beer and challenging his dad to a grill-off might be the main storylines of upcoming episodes.

We know the show’s official return date, so all will be revealed soon enough!

Hank Hill also made headlines alongside some other cartoon TV dads. Hank Hill, Bob Belcher and Cleveland Brown were all added as skins in Fortnite. The battle royale third-person shooter is widely known for using IP from several companies, including Marvel, DC, Star Wars and more, and turning them into playable characters.

Hank Hill is known for cracking open a nice cold Alamo in the alley, but to keep it kid-friendly, Epic Games opted to have him chugging energy drinks in a new emote, which features The Refreshments’ familiar theme song! Plus, other emotes will work with the Hank Hill skin, so anticipate seeing clips of your favorite propane salesman hitting the griddy or doing the orange justice.

Though many of those emotes would make the real Hank yell “BWAH!” we think they’re pretty funny. Still, Hank Hill is a canonical video game addict, so we know he’d be cranking 90s and snagging Victory Royales, I’ll tell you hwhat.
