Officers were called to respond to a shooting in Dallas’ Pleasant Grove neighborhood Thursday, where they found a 28-year-old man had been fatally shot, police say.
DALLAS — Police are investigating after a 28-year-old man was shot and killed in southern Dallas Thursday, officials say.
Officers were called to respond to a shooting in the 10200 block of Budtime Lane in Dallas’ Pleasant Grove neighborhood shortly after 5 p.m., where they found Alejandro Lopez, 28, had been shot, police say.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and transported Lopez to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to a press release.
No additional details about any suspects or what led up to the shooting was immediately available.
