Houston-based microgrid company Enchanted Rock names new CEO, CFO

“Enchanted Rock is poised for exponential growth,” Hans Kobler, CEO of Enchanted Rock investor Energy Impact Partners, said in a release.

HOUSTON — Enchanted Rock has named a new CEO and CFO as the Houston-based microgrid company enters its next phase of growth.

Corey Amthor, who previously served as president since 2020, was named CEO to succeed Thomas McAndrew, who founded Enchanted Rock in 2006. McAndrew will remain actively involved with the company as a “transformational deal originator,” strategic adviser and board member, Enchanted Rock said.

“Enchanted Rock is experiencing unprecedented demand as organizations prioritize cleaner, faster and more resilient energy,” McAndrew said in a press release. “Corey has been instrumental in building the foundation needed to scale, and I’m confident he’s the right leader to guide us into this next chapter.”

Ian Blakely has reassumed the role of CFO, a position he held before becoming chief strategy officer.
