Dude Perfect’s new headquarters in Frisco is a sports lover’s paradise. Or as CEO Andrew Yaffee describes it, a “Barbie Dreamhouse.”
The 80,000-square-foot facility, located in Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ Star Business Park just down the road from the PGA of America headquarters, features mini-golf holes, moving basketball hoops and a 45-yard football field. There’s also a pickleball court, a gym and even a slide for employees to use to get from the main bullpen on the second level to the ground floor.
Dubbed “Dude Perfect HQ 3” since it’s the third home for the YouTube sensations, the new headquarters symbolizes how far the group has come. Dude Perfect started in 2009 as a group of five friends at Texas A&M University who made videos of trick shots, such as scoring a basketball from the third deck of Kyle Field. Today, their YouTube channel has more than 60 million subscribers and their videos have amassed more than 17 billion views. The business has grown beyond content to include other ventures such as live tours, toys, books and even television deals.
Dude Perfect is in hiring mode and will likely have at least 60 employees by the end of the year. The group landed a nine-figure investment believed to be between $100 million and $300 million from New York-based investment firm Highmount Capital Management LLC last year.
