Richland Hills police reportedly intercepted two loitering ponies, helping them get back home.
RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — A pony and a donkey received a police escort home after they were discovered out and about way pasture bedtime.
Poncho and Sea Biscuit, were caught red-hoofed walking the streets of Richland Hills well after curfew yesterday. Luckily, they did what any motorist should do when they see police in their rearview late at night: Keep calm and safely trot on home.
“You just never know what you will see on night shift,” Richland Hills police wrote in a social media post Wednesday.
It’s unclear how the ponies may have escaped, but it’s clear they know how to stirrup trouble.
