The North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee has inked its first sponsorship deal with Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages LLC.
Dallas-based Coca-Cola Southwest is a subsidiary of Arca Continental, one of the largest bottlers of Coca-Cola in the U.S. The company makes, markets and distributes bottled beverages to more than 31 million people across Texas and in parts of Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas.
The deal, announced June 11 exactly a year before the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off, represents a key milestone for the Dallas host committee in its preparation for the world’s most-watched sporting event. Each city is responsible for covering the costs of hosting the World Cup, including security, transportation, fan festivals and other infrastructure within their market.
“Coca-Cola brings 50 years of World Cup experience to our market and has partnered with FIFA for a long time,” said Monica Paul, executive director of the Dallas Sports Commission and president of the Dallas host committee. “They will be a valued and active partner alongside our North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee as we really aim to deliver an incredible experience for Dallas and our North Texas region.”
