HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A child died after being hit by a vehicle in northeast Harris County Monday night, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
It happened on Suburban Road near Hermann Road.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the child was riding a bike when they were hit by a vehicle. EMS arrived and performed CPR, but the child was pronounced dead at the scene, according to HCSO Command. At this time, their age is unknown.
According to HCSO, the driver left the scene. Authorities have not provided a description of the suspect vehicle.
