Buc-ee’s packed with households as Texas motorists hit the road for summer vacations

SAN ANTONIO — On Sunday morning, Buc-ee’s off Interstate 35 heading to New Braunfels was packed with households, pals and family pets in cars and trucks heading to getaway destinations across Texas.

“We are going to Houston,” claimed Gian Taverez, a College of Texas at San Antonio student, when traveling with his good friend Vincent Hernandez. “I’m a fan of the Astros, like it’s personal. I’ve been a fan for like 12 years of my life, so I’m trying to bring my good friend over.”

“We just came from Corpus Christi, and it was amazing, such a great time!” claimed Stacie, Layla, Scarlett, and George Gonzalez.

“Every weekend, we appear Saturdays and Sundays,” BB Lopez said.

“Every morning, we take our dogs in the automobile for a couple of hours, go [to Buc-ee’s] and acquire the 20 -extra pound bags of ice, dump them in the back, and let them socialize.”

“I’m going home to remainder due to the fact that I’m a fourth-grade teacher,” claimed Ashley Rodriguez, with her daughter Lilly.

When I think of summer, I just think of associating buddies, seeing household, obtaining that free time in,” Tavarez claimed.

When it pertains to spending time when traveling for long-distance trips, these motorists said that discovering means to enjoy the time makes the experience rewarding.

“Songs, that’s my trick,” claimed Hernandez and Tavarez. “When I pay attention to songs, time passes faster. Or if I’m talking on the phone, it seems like an hour, but in reality, it resembles 3 hours.”

“We review an audiobook,” claimed the Gonzalez family members. “It was Oriental American Heritage Month, so we leased a publication from the collection so we can listen to it while our daughter works on reading.”
