Hutto Police: 1 hurt, 18-year-old arrested after shooting at a party

HUTTO, Texas (KXAN)– An 18 -year-old was detained and required to Williamson County Prison after he was implicated of firing a juvenile at a celebration overnight, the Hutto Police Department published on social media.

Around 12: 24 a.m., Hutto Law enforcement officer were called for a sound problem at a large party in the 200 block of Phillips Street in the Hutto Parke subdivision. While officers were en route to the scene, the Williamson Area Emergency situation Services updated the telephone call to shots terminated, stated the post. 

According to the message, 911 callers reported individuals were “capturing, running and repeling from the area.” 

When police officers got to the scene they found a male juvenile with a non-life harmful gunfire injury to his arm. Cops stated he was transported by EMS to a neighborhood hospital. 

Hutto Police stated at the very least one lorry and one residence were struck with a bullet throughout the incident. No other injuries were reported, the blog post stated. 

Cops apprehended an 18 -year-old man that was not a Hutto citizen. Police did not release his identity, neither details concerning fees versus him. The HPD post said he was illegally lugging a tool on scene.

HPD thinks this was an isolated case and there is no further risk to the general public. According to the post, cops will not release other details in this situation unless another person is nabbed.
