AUSTIN (KXAN)– The Austin Police Department said a policeman was involved in a shooting late Saturday night adhering to an attempted traffic quit on a stolen lorry.
APD claimed when police officers tried to make the quit, the stolen automobile swiftly repelled and led police on a brief search prior to collapsing. The phone call reporting the occurrence was available in at about 11: 15 p.m.
According to police, gunfires were exchanged in between the suspect and policemans at the scene after the crash. No police officers were harmed during the occurrence, and the suspect was required to the medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries.
