According to officials, the girl was reported missing from an address on Preston Roadway.
FRISCO, Texas– A 7 -year-old girl that was reported missing Saturday evening died after she was pulled from a retention pond near Stonebriar Centre, authorities said.
According to the Frisco Fire Division, the youngster was reported missing shortly before 9 p.m. near 2401 Preston Road, the area of an Uncle Julio’s dining establishment.
Frisco authorities and fire crews, together with Lewisville Fire Division and the Texas Division of Public Safety, responded to the neighboring fish pond, where they found a pair of footwear along the bank, officials said.
The woman was discovered in the water and transferred to a regional hospital, where she was later on obvious dead, according to fire officials.
Information on exactly how the girl wound up in the fish pond were not immediately clear.
