A United Airlines trip securely went back to Houston as a result of a reported engine concern shortly after launch.
HOUSTON– A United Airlines trip from Houston to Frankfurt was required to return to George Shrub Intercontinental Flight Terminal (IAH) Saturday complying with a reported engine problem quickly after takeoff.
According to the Houston Fire Division, United Trip 46 left Shrub Airport terminal soon after 7 p.m. en route to Germany but reversed after a record of a feasible engine fire not long after separation.
Nevertheless, upon inspection after securely landing back in Houston, no smoke or fire was found, HFD claimed.
In a declaration to KHOU 11, United Airlines claimed the aircraft “safely returned to Houston to deal with an upkeep problem” and confirmed that the airplane had to launch fuel prior to touchdown in order to avoid being overweight.
The airline company exchanged the airplane and expected to get consumers on their means to Frankfurt later on in the evening.
