SAN ANTONIO — In one week, united state Migration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) representatives detained construction employees on an university campus and, in a separate incident, a mommy and child quickly after a migration hearing.
Immigration enforcement is being extensively discussed on social networks, leaving some San Antonians examining if they still stand as highly for or versus deportation plans.
“I think it’s horrible,” one lady said.

UTSA confirmed to TheTXLoop that individuals detained were “people that were benefiting a subcontractor on a main campus construction job.” A speaker with ICE San Antonio additionally verified they carried out the “enforcement activity” on “several individuals that remained in the USA unjustifiably.”
