SAN ANTONIO — Three pet dogs associated with an assault that killed a 1 -year-old young boy and hurt a 13 -year-old lady last month have been euthanized.
A Bexar County representative told TheTXLoop on Thursday morning that the pets were euthanized on Nov. 5
The canines belonged to Heather Rodriquez, a child’s babysitter that was billed with injury to a child and kid endangerment complying with the attack.
Throughout a harmful canine hearing on Oct. 17, a court decided for the 3 canines to be euthanized. The hearing was a civil matter and didn’t include the criminal instance in which Rodriquez faces numerous fees.
The Bexar Region Constable’s Office seized the canine directly involved in the assault, which Rodriquez consented to surrender ownership of. Two other dogs were likewise seized; nonetheless, Rodriquez did not agree to hand them over, the spokesperson stated.
