Bexar County lady arraigned by grand jury in canine assault that eliminated 1 -year-old kid, documents show

SAN ANTONIO — A Bexar Area woman was prosecuted by a grand jury after she was implicated of leaving a 1 -year-old boy alone with her 3 pets that eliminated him.

Heather Rodriquez, 36, was fingered Wednesday on fees of youngster abandonment/endangerment and carelessly creating physical injury to a kid.

The Bexar Region Sheriff’s Workplace stated the child was in Rodriquez’s treatment on Oct. 7 when she left the home.

The kid was left in an area with her 13-year-old child to maintain the youngster far from the canines, replacements claimed.

Officials claimed the pets, who previously damaged the door, compelled their method into the area.

Authorities stated the teenager attempted to protect the 1 -year-old young boy– later on identified as Jiryiah Johnson– but it was a “contest of strength” between her and the 3 pet dogs.

The pet dogs mauled Johnson. Officials said the teen was also bitten while doing so.

Once authorities showed up, they made help to Johnson, but he was later obvious dead at a neighborhood medical facility.

A Bexar Region judge ordered Rodriquez’s 3 dogs to be euthanized.

Rodriquez’s test date has not yet been set.
