HOUSTON — A Houston-based documentary celebrating the sport of soccer is making its red carpet debut in the city tonight, just as the world turns its attention to the upcoming World Cup.
One of those featured names is Houston Dynamo legend Brian Ching. He sat down ahead of the World Cup premiere to discuss the film and what he hopes it means for the community.
Houston soccer fans looking for more ways to celebrate the World Cup can also head to Discovery Green, where a soccer celebration series runs through June and July. The event series will feature live music, fitness classes, outdoor movies, food trucks and family-friendly activities. H-E-B will also host pop-up giveaways. Most events are free and open to the public.
