Seniors Reese Atwood and Ashton Maloney were named the best defenders at their positions in the country, earning Gold Gloves from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Atwood won it at catcher, and Maloney was honored as a right fielder. Texas is the only team this year to have multiple Gold Glove winners.
