A Spring neighborhood disturbance led to four arrests after a crowd at a rental property allegedly assaulted deputies, according to Harris County Precinct 4.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Four people were arrested in a Spring neighborhood over the weekend after dozens of people gathered outside what officials described as a rental property.
A neighbor on Country Canyon Drive shared a video with KHOU 11 showing a large crowd gathered at the corner of the street before people began running away.
Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said deputies were attacked while trying to disperse the crowd.
“One of our female deputies was bit. She was hit. One of our male deputies was hit in the head with a beer bottle and suffered a concussion,” Herman said.
According to Herman, four people were detained, including two juveniles.
Neighbors said they want the property owner held accountable.
“I would love to see the owner cited because, you know, did he vet them? Was it a break-in? I don’t know,” neighbor Dominique Arriaga said.
KHOU 11 reached the property owner by text message. He said he is also investigating what happened.
