Woman rescued from water near dock at Port Houston

The Houston Fire Department gave the woman medical treatment at the scene. We don’t yet know how she ended up in the water.

HOUSTON — Crews rescued a woman in the water at a dock in Port Houston Tuesday morning, according to the Port Authority.

This happened at City Dock 26 near Wharf Road and Harrisburg Boulevard. Reports of the woman in the water initially came in shortly before 9 a.m.

Details surrounding this situation are limited at this time.

Authorities told KHOU 11 the woman was treated at the scene by the Houston Fire Department. Her condition was not immediately available.

It’s not yet known how the woman ended up in the water.
