The Department of Justice has established a $1.776 billion “Anti-Weaponization fund” to provide financial compensation and formal apologies to victims of “weaponization and lawfare”, including those involved in the January 6th Capitol attack, which has been met with criticism from Democrats and a lawsuit from two police officers who responded to the attack.
