Police in Santa Fe, Texas, say a man is barricaded in a home after an incident on Friday morning.
SANTA FE, Texas — Police in Santa Fe, Texas, are responding to an ongoing barricade situation after a man allegedly fired a gun at his girlfriend Friday morning in the 11th Street and Avenue J area.
The girlfriend was not injured and was able to escape, then called police to report the incident, according to Santa Fe Police Department Lt. Greg Boody.
The call came in around 10:45 a.m., and the situation was still active around 4 p.m. The suspect is believed to still be armed and barricaded inside his residence.
No other injuries have been reported.
