Warning for parents: 125,000 children’s tower stools recalled for potentially deadly defect

The latest recall involves 125,000 Cosyland-branded children’s tower stools, which were sold from April 2021 through November 2025.

WASHINGTON — Tens of thousands of children’s tower stools sold on Amazon are being recalled because of a potentially deadly defect.

The recall involves 125,000 Cosyland-branded children’s tower stools. According to the recall posted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the tower stools can collapse or tip over while in use, and a child’s torso can fit through the openings.

The issues pose “a risk of serious injury and death due to tip over, fall and entrapment hazards,” the recall states. The company said it’s aware of 25 reports of stability issues and falls, which resulted in eight injuries ranging from scrapes to a fractured arm.

The recalled Cosyland Children’s Tower Stools include models CS0003 and CS0092-4, which were sold from April 2021 through November 2025 on Amazon.com. The tower stools were sold in natural bamboo and gray, and measure about 16 inches deep by 18 inches wide and 35 inches tall. “COSYLAND” and warning labels are visible along the top rails.

Children’s tower stools, sometimes called learning towers, are designed to allow young children to stand at counter height alongside adults in the kitchen. Safety advocates have repeatedly flagged them for structural risks, particularly with lower-cost imported models that might not meet domestic safety standards.

Last month, federal regulators announced the recall of nearly 13,000 other tower stools across three brands.

According to Thursday’s notice, the recalled tower stools should be stored out of reach of children until they are repaired. Cosyland is offering a free repair kit for consumers, which you can request on the company’s website or by emailing their customer service team at customerservice@cosyland.com.
