A shooting at an Everman event center injured three teenagers on Saturday night, police said. Several suspects, including many teens, were detained.
EVERMAN, Texas — A shooting at an Everman teen party left three minors in serious but stable condition Saturday night, officials said.
Everman Emergency Services received multiple calls of a shooting at a teen party at a small event venue in the 1800 block of Everman Parkway.
Police found two teenage gunshot victims and transported them to a local hospital, officials said. Officers later learned there was a third victim who arrived at a Fort Worth hospital.
Law enforcement identified a suspect vehicle and detained several people of interest, recovering multiple firearms. Most of the detained individuals were teens, according to police.
“This is an unfortunate and unnecessary tragedy that is becoming all too common in our society,” Everman Emergency Services said in a post on social media.
The Texas Rangers are assisting with the ongoing investigation into this incident.
