HOUSTON — A man was shot in the leg late Saturday night after an argument over a loud car in northwest Houston, police say.
Officers were called to the scene shortly before midnight on Antoine Drive near West Little York Road.
The Houston Police Department said the victim gave officers a description of the man who shot him before he was rushed to a hospital.
“It seems like the suspect and the victim in this case are acquaintances,” HPD Lt. Ali said at the scene. “They got into a verbal altercation, and evidently the suspect produced a firearm and started to shoot in the direction of our victim.”
While officers were still on the scene, HPD said the suspect returned to the scene. The man was detained and a gun was recovered.
