PEARLAND, Texas — A person of interest is in custody after someone was found dead in a home in Pearland.
This is all unfolding at a home on Sundown near the intersection of Broadway and Hillhouse Road.
At this point, we don’t have any information about how the person died or the circumstances of the person’s death.
According to Pearland city officials, a family member found the body inside. Police were able to connect a license plate to the scene and sent word to be on the lookout. A vehicle with that plate was found, and a chase followed that ended in Houston. According to city officials, the person who was driving is a juvenile.
Police are waiting for a warrant to go inside the home.
