Michael Saldivar, 52, was charged with aggravated assault of a family member in April. Earlier this month, he did it again, according to court docs.
HOUSTON — Michael Saldivar, an HPD sergeant, went to jail for the second time in less than three months after he was accused of assaulting a family member, court documents say.
Saldivar was arrested on April 19 and charged with felony aggravated assault of a family member. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond. The judge also granted a protective order and told him to stay away from the alleged victim.
On August 6, court documents show that Saldivar got drunk and went back to the home in Cypress, where he attacked the same victim.
He was arrested again and charged with violating his bond conditions.
This time, the judge set Saldivar’s bond at $25,000 and issued a new protective order.
Saldivar was freed after posting that bond.
His next court date is scheduled for September 15.
