HOUSTON — Six more Houston-based companies have joined the New York Stock Exchange’s new Dallas-based electronic equities exchange in the past few days.
All joined the NYSE Texas as founding members and are maintaining their primary NYSE listings.
NRG Energy Inc. (NYSE: NRG) is the largest Houston-based company so far to join the NYSE Texas. The company ranked No. 11 on the Houston Business Journal’s 2025 List of the area’s largest public companies, based on its 2024 revenue of $28.13 billion.
“Building on our over 20-year relationship with the NYSE, we are honored to join the NYSE Texas as a Founding Member,” CEO Larry Coben said.
