Harris County deputies investigate attempted murder-suicide on Pine Pass Drive

Harris County deputies investigate a possible attempted murder-suicide after a woman is found dead and a man critically wounded.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a possible attempted murder-suicide after a deadly shooting in northwest Harris County.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said deputies responded to Pine Pass Drive, just northwest of FM 1960, where they found an adult woman dead from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

An adult man was also found at the scene with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the sheriff said. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Gonzalez said the investigation is in its preliminary stages but that the case is being treated as a possible attempted murder-suicide.
