HOUSTON — A Humble ISD school bus driver and five occupants from other vehicles were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on West Lake Houston Parkway near FM 1960 East, according to the Atascocita Fire Department.
The school bus was not carrying any students at the time of the collision on Tuesday afternoon. Emergency responders took six people to area hospitals, while two more people were treated at the scene but declined further medical transport.
The Atascocita Fire Department responded to the crash scene on West Lake Houston Parkway, though officials have not yet released details about what caused the accident or how many vehicles were involved beyond the school bus.
All injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
