It happened on Aspen Meadow Drive near Westplace Drive and the Sam Houston Tollway.
According to preliminary information from HPD, officers were chasing a robbery suspect when the man got out of his vehicle holding a weapon.
That’s when shots were fired.
No officers were hurt, police said. The suspect’s condition is unknown at this time.
