AUSTIN (KXAN) — If your child has mentioned setting up a lemonade stand to help victims of last month’s devastating floods, there’s a cold-pressed juice company hoping to make that easier for families to set up.
Twisted Alchemy was inspired by kids stepping up to raise money for Central Texas flood relief efforts, so they are giving them a way to apply for a free lemonade kit.
Each lemonade stand kit includes four 16-ounce bottles of Twisted Alchemy’s Cold-Pressed Eureka Lemon Juice, a kid-sized custom Twisted Alchemy yellow apron, and a lemonade stand sign you can download with a recipe card.
Anyone interested needs to submit a form and apply for a kit.
Some of the nonprofits verified by Twisted Alchemy as beneficiaries include the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, Central Texas Food Bank, American Red Cross, Mercy Chefs, Kerrville Pets Alive and Austin Pets Alive, among others.
During the application process, if you don’t see your organization you’d like to donate to, you can select other and share the name of the nonprofit you’d like to support.
