Daikin Park makes history with All-Stars Car Show

Daikin Park hosts the first-ever All-Stars Car Show, transforming the stadium into a car showcase with over 14,000 fans attending.

HOUSTON — Daikin Park made history Saturday, Aug. 2, as over 14,000 fans filled the stadium for the inaugural All-Stars Car Show, the first full-scale automotive showcase at any Major League Baseball venue.

The one-day event featured over 380 vehicles, brand activations, live entertainment, and celebrity appearances — all celebrating Houston’s rising influence on global car culture. Organized by Abe Levitz and Jorge Verdejo of Coffee and Cars, the show turned the on-field warning track, concourses and outdoor lots of the stadium into a massive car lover’s paradise.

“Watching Daikin Park come alive with a lineup this diverse and thousands of fans in the stands was beyond what we imagined,” said Levitz and Verdejo in a joint statement. “We set out to create something Houston had never seen before, and the response made it clear this city belongs on the global automotive map.”

The event drew mostly from local collectors, many of whom debuted their cars publicly for the first time. Standouts included rare hypercars and luxury exotics like the Pagani Utopia, Lamborghini Centenario, and Aston Martin Valkyrie.

One of the show’s highlights was the unveiling of a custom diamond-studded trophy at home plate, designed by Houston jeweler Daniel Dang of Daniel & Co.

VIP tickets and field access sold out in advance, with general admission guests enjoying racing simulators, curated car zones, and dealership displays. The event also raised $10,000 for the Astros Foundation, supporting youth baseball, military outreach, and other community causes.

“The All-Stars Car Show was an excellent event,” said Rachel Quan, Astros Vice President of Special Events. “We are beyond excited about the success and the donation to the Astros Foundation… we can’t wait to look into ways to grow it in the future.”

Organizers have confirmed plans are underway for the show’s return in 2026, with an expanded footprint and new programming expected.
