Houston’s most wanted: FBI releases first list with rewards up to $50,000

There are rewards offered between $5,000 to $50,000.

HOUSTON — The Houston FBI is out with its first list of most wanted fugitives and if you can help officials track them down, there could be reward money in it for you. 

The FBI released the list as part of its “Summer Heat” campaign targeting violent crime.  The fugitives on the list are considered dangerous and face charges that include murder, aggravated assault, aggravated robbery, and bank robbery. 

Reward money for information that leads to their capture ranges from $5,000 to $50,000

Below are the names and faces of the FBI’s list of Houston’s most wanted, along with their respective rewards, and what the FBI says they’re wanted for: 

  • Christian Xavier Rucker – Wanted for Murder in Aid of Racketeering – $50,000 (increased reward and previously featured by FBI Houston) 
  • Elvio Emilio Mancebo – Wanted for Murder and Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution – $10,000 reward 
  • Rafael Antonio Hernandez – Wanted for Murder – $5,000 reward 
  • Glen Holmes – Wanted for Murder – $5,000 reward 
  • Luis Argueta – Wanted for Murder – $5,000 reward 
  • Hector Manuel Birriel Carrasquillo – Wanted for Murder – $5,000 reward 
  • Jamale N. Jones – Wanted for Aggravated Robbery – $5,000 reward 
  • Anthony K. Johnson – Wanted for Aggravated Robbery – $5,000 reward 
  • Jose De La Cruz Borjas Machado – Wanted for Aggravated Robbery – $5,000 reward 
  • Gerrode Terrel Smith – Wanted for Bank Robbery – $5,000 reward

“The full force of local, state, and federal law enforcement is focused on capturing these fugitives,” said FBI Houston Special Agent in Charge Douglas Williams in a release that went out Tuesday. “Together, we are unleashing every available resource to track them down and bring them to justice. There will be no safe haven or refuge they can hide from the reach of our Homeland Security Task Force.” 

The FBI is working with different agencies, including the Houston Police Department, Harris County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals Service, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Texas DPS, Homeland Security Investigations, Harris County DA’s Office, and U.S. Attorney’s Office.
