AUSTIN (KXAN) — Clear the Shelters 2025 is officially underway for its 11th annual pet adoption and donation campaign, and several Central Texas animal shelters are participating.
Clear The Shelters is NBCUniversal Local’s nationwide campaign that encourages people to adopt from their local shelters to “clear the shelters.” Each year, more than 100,000 animals are adopted from shelters and rescues that participate in the initiative.
This year’s campaign runs from Aug. 1 to Aug. 31.
