HOUSTON — Sysco Corp. (NYSE: SYY), one of the Houston area’s largest public companies, is on an expansion streak this year.
Just this week, the foodservice distribution giant held the grand openings for its second-ever Sysco To Go retail store in Houston and a new distribution center near Tampa, Florida.
Sysco To Go is the company’s new “restaurant club” targeting small businesses and foodservice operators in the area. Membership is free and does not require any purchase minimums. The store offers everything from fresh produce to culinary utensils.
