AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two people died and several were taken into custody after a shooting in San Marcos overnight.
The San Marcos Police Department shared information about the shooting on social media shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday. The shooting happened near San Antonio Street and Guadalupe Street, according to the post.
Several people were detained, and police said there was no ongoing threat to the public.
Police did not share information about the victims or whether any charges have been filed.
